Adderbury Bellringers Open Evening – 2 June
The evening starts in St Mary’s Church at 7.00 pm. Learn all about what the bellringers do and enjoy a trip to the tower to see the bells in action. To sign up to get a £5.00 ticket for this FOSMA event ring 07743775150. A glass of wine is also included.
Adderbury Cine Club will be showing ‘Nuremberg’ in The Institute – doors open at 7.30 pm and the film starts at 8.00 pm. Starring Russell Crowe as Hermann Göring and Rami Malek as American psychologist Dr. Douglas Kelley who relates how a WWII psychiatrist evaluates Nazi leaders before the Nuremberg trials, growing increasingly obsessed with understanding evil as he forms a disturbing bond with Hermann Göring. Do come along to The Institute between 2.00 pm and 5.00 pm to see the amazing collection of all manner of Adderbury History. Have a look through the vast display of local archive material and take the chance to talk to people who remember Adderbury “back in the day”. And of course enjoy the legendary tea and cakes!
